Originally we thought
with our new restaurant, we would offer a full menu. Then we started
looking at waste, prices, freshness, and overall appeal and
flexibility to our guests. We have figured out that without a menu
we can offer our guests the freshest options, but not sacrifice
taste or choice.
While all of our dishes
are designed as heart healthy, we are proud to offer choices for our
guests who have dietary requirements. So when we plan the menu, we
always have vegetarian, as well as other options if our special does
not appeal to you.

With 30% of all
restaurant waste consisting of food that is not eaten, or spoils, we
want to eliminate this waste by selecting what we have freshest as
our special.

Our coffee is from local
Tico owned plantations, and is USDA organic and is "fair farmed".
We are dedicated
to our community and to our country. Even our Head Chef is from El
Rosario. We hope that you enjoy dining with us, and please remember
that just because we don't have a menu does not mean we are limited
in any way!

We also try to have a
small impact on our environment by recycling, and purchasing our
produce from organic local growers. If you look carefully on
Saturday mornings you can see our lettuce purveyor coming in with a
giant cardboard box full of hydroponicly grown lettuce! He lives
here in El Rosario. Also, our meat, fish, chicken, and produce all
come from local businesses out of the central market in Naranjo. |
